Born in 1985, Luke Waller graduated with a BA in Illustration from the London College of
Communication in 2009, since which time he has gone on to achieve international acclaim for his various
painted series, covering between them a wide range of contemporary and surreal subject matter. These
pieces include nine portrait images commissioned by Cutler and Gross and ‘Frank’s Wild Years’, a series
described by art historian Andrew Graham- Dixon as both 'striking' and 'Hopper-esque'.
